Cablescan will produce a project plan detailing the process which generally begins by carrying out the prototyping & initial production run in the UK and then transferring production to one of the low cost locations listed below. Bangalore, India
This Amphenol facility has been manufacturing Military and Aerospace cable assemblies since 1994. It is certified to AS9100 / ISO9001:2015, IPC620, J-STD-001 Cyber Essentials and many blue chip customer approvals. They have 200 operators working on military and Aerospace programmes an area of 50,000 square feet.
Kuressaare, Estonia
Ionix in Estonia (which was acquired by Amphenol in 2013) has been manufacturing Defence & Aerospace harnesses since 2006, this site currently employs 220 operators working on Defence & Aerospace programmes. These programmes include engine harnesses for single aisle and twin aisle passenger jets, engine harnesses for military jets, and military vehicle harnesses. Ionix Systems Estonia has recently gained an RF capability. The site has recently been expanded to 57,000 sq ft. Certification include. This site is certified to EN 9100 / ISO 9001:2015, IPC620, ISO14001, Cyber Essentials and many blue chip customer approvals.
