Test Equipment

In 2011 Cablescan acquired the company Phoenix Power Systems, this company was established in 1992 as specialists in the manufacture of bespoke avionics test benches, wiring harnesses; systems control panels and instrumentation for the aerospace, military and related industries. Since this time we have carefully carried out a process to transfer the personnel, product, process and customer knowledge into Cablescan, this process has now been completed. We have been involved in many projects over the years including Hawk Nimrod, Typhoon, Falcon 7X and JSF.

PPS / Cablescan have provided an on time first class service to our end users based throughout the world. We are specialists in the manufacture of bespoke avionics test benches, wiring harnesses, systems control panels and instrumentation for the aerospace, military and related industries. Our success lies in reliability and adapting to our customer requirements, always delivering quality products on time and on budget. We have a dedicated Support and Production Cell well versed in complex electrical harness and test rig assembly along with all the necessary detailed quality procedures which that entails.

Naval

Cablescan manufacture cable assemblies for Naval and Marine applications.
Utilising Low Smoke and Zero Halogen materials makes them suitable for below deck applications. Other applications for cable assemblies depend on the type and speed of data that needs transmitting and based on these considerations we can offer assemblies including and not limited to RJ45, USB, Fiber Optics and standard copper.
For applications exposed to the elements we can use Nickel Aluminium Bronze connectors and apply a connector over mould onto the cable to provide additional protection from water ingress.

Unmanned Aerial Vehicles

Cablescan have supplied assemblies onto Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) both at Engine, Aircraft and control centre levels since 2009, our expertise gained in the Aerospace sector enables us to offer optimum components and build techniques. Please refer to our Military aerospace section for more detail.
